DECCAN CHARGERS NEED TO REGROUP QUICKLY-SAYS LEHMANN

Deccan Chargers coach Darren Lehmann put up a brave front after losing to Delhi Daredevils from a winning position. The former Australian batsman said that his team needed to regroup and not think much about the loss.

On what went wrong: I think it was an unfortunate game. We lost seven wickets for just 12 runs and that did us in.

On what was the decisive moment: I think we needed 29 off 24 balls. So, I think we are to blame. We played ourselves to get into the game and that is really good. But we didn’t bowl or field as well as we should have. They went on to score 173 and then we batted really well to get into a good position. We should have won the game. It is unfortunate that we lost it.

On failure of batsmen to score boundaries: Yeah. In the end we needed to score boundaries. It doesn't matter whether a regular or a part-timer is bowling one has to finish the games. And we didn't do that tonight.
